Cuyabeno Reserve is a part of the Amazon rainforest and the second largest National Park in Ecuador. Cuyabeno offers perfect jungle experience in the Amazon rainfores. The Reserve has many lakes and a river system so it’s the perfect place to explore the nature by a canoe.
The area is rich in wildlife and it’s habitat for many different birds, bats, reptiles and mammals. On guided walks you can learn about the medicinal plants of the jungle and in the evening see some nocturnal wildlife.
Accommodation is on a basic jungle lodge. The lodges are equipped with solar panels so there is a possibility to recharge batteries . Tours include accommodation, food, guides tours and transportation while on the tour.
